Etiko has teamed up with Working World, a non profit organisation dedicated to the spread of economic democracy, to assist the growing number of Worker Owned Co-operatives get their products into the market place.

After year of being forced to work for a fraction of their legal wages, the workers of the Cerkoo Co operative took advantage of their country's 2001 economic meltdown to buy the factory. It now operates as a Fairtrade collective for the benefit of all the workers.

The first of these products is a range of shirts which has been produced by the Cerkoo Co-operative in Buenos Aires, Argentina. High quality and designed to last this is a shirt you’ll be proud to wear ….and not just because they look mighty fine!
